The very word strikes fear in the hearts of most women and for a very good reason. Not only is cellulite embarrassing, it can be annoying and unsightly as well. This condition, where fat appears as dimpled skin around the hips, thighs, and buttocks, can prevent you from wearing shorts or a swimsuit. In some cases, it can even ruin your love life!

The experts and current cellulite sufferers agree that people would be much better off trying to Prevent Cellulite from forming then they would trying to fight it once it did form. But methods for cellulite prevention are not something that everyone knows about. While some individuals have unwanted cellulite due to genetics (sorry but there’s not much anyone can do about this) others see the formation of cellulite due to everyday activities.

One of the best options we have in fighting the orange peel skin condition is none other than a healthy diet. The diet is a simple one but contains all the basic nutrients that are needed for optimum living. People have abandoned the simple healthy diet and the many health challenges are all we have to show for our sophistication in the matters of the dining table. We need to eat for the nutrients but not for the taste.

Cellulite is the problem, that encounters more than 90% of women at any age around the globe. Cellulite describes dimpling of skin, caused by the protrusion of subcutaneous. Cellulite is not fat, and thin people often struggle with cellulite. Cellulite is the lumpy substance resembling cottage cheese that is commonly found on the thighs, stomach, and butt.Cellulite may not be a serious problem to some people, millions of women would prefer to have smooth body contours, and not be stuck with orange peel, cottage cheese look-a-like skin.

However, first there is a need to know what exactly cellulite is and the most common understanding of the problem is that it is fatty tissue that forms beneath the woman’s skin surface and which mostly are found in their lower body parts including the butts, thighs, hips and also legs which are the most problematic areas with regard to their cellulite condition.

The connective strands, that envelop adipose cells, stiffen, swell and pull down the skin at their attachment points. This gives rise to some sections of skin being held down while others bulge outward (orange peel skin). Cellulite describes dimpling of skin, caused by the protrusion of subcutaneous fat into the dermis creating an undulating dermal-subcutaneous fat junction adipose tissue.

Cellulite does not occur when correct circulation is found within the body however, when fluids, stored fats and toxins are not removed efficiently they become trapped in the skin causing the tissues to become rigid and thick causing bumpy “orange peel” like lines in the skin. The appearance of cellulite can vary from one person to another however, the severity will depend on a number of factors such as genetics, diet, fitness, weight and overall lifestyle of the affected individual.
