Cellulite is the word used to describe the unsightly fat that accumulates on one’s thighs, buttocks, legs, hips, and other parts of the body. It is cobbled, discolored and unsightly. Oftentimes, it is compared to an orange peel because it consists of dimpled skin caused by raised fat cells under the skin. Although the causes of cellulite are poorly understood, it is associated with a poor connective tissue, a build up of toxic waste, and fluids in the subcutaneous tissues. Cellulites are more common in women. About ninety percent of them suffer from some degree of cellulite, ranging from just noticeable to severe.

Some cellulite reduction exercises that you can do include leg curls, lunges, abductor, adductor, and stiff-legged dead lifts. These exercises will reduce cellulite in those areas of the hips, thighs, and stomach. But before you do any type of exercise, remember to warm up for at least five to ten minutes first.
Another exercise that you can do is taking long walks. A steady long walk will put your body in a continuous rhythmic motion and will not only benefit the leg and thigh areas, but also most parts of the body from the head down to the neck, shoulders, arms, back, and abdomen. You can also jog at a comfortable but controlled pace. Jogging will improve your stamina and is especially targeted to cut down cellulite on the legs.
Perhaps one of the best exercises you can probably do is swimming. This type of exercise will tone most of the body muscles and will help get rid of cellulite. Moreover, swimming does not strain any particular part of the body.
Indeed, exercise is a natural cellulite remover. It improves circulation, metabolizes stored fats, and allows the body to detoxify itself. Find the cellulite reduction exercise that works best for you, and take time to engage in it regularly.
